Ezekiel and the Great Monster Truck Rally!

Call this "everyday Kabbalah" if you like. But I was reading through the first chapter of Ezekiel in a commentary I have. You know, the guy everyone says saw UFO's. But it wasn't flying saucers he saw it was really a MONSTER TRUCK. It was Jehovah's big wheeled thing! You've seen those giant trucks from time to time going down a street where it takes a step ladder to get up to the driver's seat? It was more like that than an "area 51" saucer.

Here's my logic; the wheels said that God could and would go anywhere to execute his justice. The people of Israel were either in denial, saying that God wouldn't judge them or whining saying he'd never deliver them. But here's the Glory Wagon appearing to Ezekiel over the river and again on the plain saying God would drive in in full force, just like one of those MONSTER TRUCKS at the arena when it rolls over a Ford Pinto!

Why I might wear a GREEN string on my wrist...

Just caught the 20/20 special on the Kabbalah centre. For those of you in the know, the "red strings" on the wrists of celebrities identify them as devotees of Kabbalah, or what this current crop of cult leaders CALLS Kabbalah. As if God is a technology that you can access like some kind of computer, just feed the right data in and he gives you answers. They've got the Almighty confused with a vending machine.

In truth there is a vast abyss between us and God as shown in Luke 16 when the rich man is in Hell and looks up at Lazarus the beggar in the bosom of Abraham. The way to Paradise is guarded by cherubim and a fiery sword. There is nothing to make him lower his sword but the Blood of Christ (our Passover Lamb).

The apostle Paul says that the blood of goats and lambs could not bring us redemption, much less saying the "names of God" or tattooing his name on our neck...

Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption

The last time I heard about Kabbalah it was in an X-files episode, great TV... but in the end its like junk food...

Babylon Rising

Sitchin may be whacked out on many levels (after all he believes Adam was a "surrogate" birth engineered by "aliens") but he makes some REMARKABLE statements about Babylon and modern day Iraq here:War comes to Edin. Saddam Hussein saw himself as the reincarnation of Nebuchednezzar. He rebuilt Babylon and inscribed each brick with his name in the fashion of the ancient Sumerians. Iraq will play a big role in the unfolding of the "End of Days" (and my thanks to Sitchin for pointing out these two remarkable prophecies):

First the prophet Isaiah predicted the destruction of Babylon by an army from a "far country" accompanied by the sound of tumult in Isaiah 13:

4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. {like…: Heb. the likeness of}
5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land

Could this be America and the tumultous sound be "Shock and Awe"?

Next the old prophet Isaiah also predicts the end of the sons of the "King of Babylon" in chapter 14:

21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.
22 For I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the LORD.

Hussein's sons? Uday and the other one? It's enough to make me hum the X-files theme all day long down here in bayou land...

Another remarkable prophecy that isn't written about in Sitchin (I haven't read it yet at least) is the coming together of "dry bones" in Ezekiel 37. This is commonly quoted in modern Israel. But there is another aspect to this I just read about last night in Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins' book "Are we living in the Last Times?". Here is the pertinent verse from Ezekiel 37:

8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

The authors make the insight that the bones, flesh and muscle came together but there was no "breath" in them. This is a picture of modern day SECULAR Israel. It is all there in body but no conversion to the Messiah has happened yet, no Holy Spirit has been "blown into their nostrils" (yet it WILL happen during the Great Tribulation).

Sitchin isn't as whacked out as it seems...

I'm not saying he's right by any means but respected astronomers such as Fred Hoyle and his collaborator, baffled at how life could ever have begun on earth, have proposed a similar idea called "panspermia". Apparently bacteria have been "seeded" on earth by comets, and of course this allows for there to be life ALL THROUGH THE UNIVERSE, shades of the bar scene from "Star Wars".

Here's the link:
Panspermia Discussion

Lets forget the fact that all the factors to allow for life even on this earth have to be EXACTLY correct and perfect for life to exist, the statistical possiblity of life elsewhere in the universe is nil to none.

This leaves us with the question, if there is no life in the rest of the universe (intelligent or otherwise), what the heck is nature of all these "alien encounters"? On that one I concur with Jaques Valee and John Keel, its a paranormal phenomena. If its a paranormal event that leaves only one choice for the discerning Christian that wishes to honor biblical principles, it is also purely demonic in nature.

So Sitchin and Hoyle take the same data as the creationists but arrive at very different conclusions; Sitchin claims it was alien "gods", Hoyle claims it was comets... intelligent design seems to be an easier thing to believe in...

ALIEN DNA!!!

the bizarre, the paranormal and the downright WEIRD from a Biblical perspective...

In the writings of Zechariah Sitchin, he makes the rather wild conjecture that the insertion of 223 “enigmatic genes” in the human genome was really the work of an advanced alien race called the “Anunnaki” on the genetic structure of hominids running around in the forests of ancient earth. He is left with this implausible idea because the 223 enigmatic strands are only in the human genome and invertebrates. It seems as if evolution simply skipped right from bacteria to the human level completely missing the lower vertebrates.

Evolutionists make an equally implausible conclusion; somehow the genetic code of bacteria infected the gonads of our early ancestors. Of course both of these ideas miss the obvious conclusion of a “special creation”. Man and his genetic structure were built by the hand of God rather than aliens or bacteria laden waters. The animal world (vertebrate and invertebrate) was created fully mature and “evolved”.

The extra DNA is also proving to be not so “enigmatic”. It has been found in some genes that they are responsible for control of other genes. So the conclusion that this is leftover from either messy aliens or equally messy evolution is premature.

One must ask what the real agenda is behind the “alien” hypothesis and the evolutionary one. The evolutionist’s ideas are not so hard to fathom out, the goal is to eliminate the “First Cause” or God altogether from the process. The alien theory is a little more malicious than it seems on the surface. This same concept of aliens or Martians tampering with our genetic structure has been around for quite a while. “Five Million Years to Earth” a science fiction movie of the 50’s makes the same argument. Digging for a new underground in London they find a buried Martian ship. They also find skulls of cavemen in different stages of evolution. The Martians it seems fiddled with our genetic structure and “two races” developed, one with telepathic powers and the other with none. “Ah” you say, “Its only a MOVIE! Come on Marty!” But the plot thickens. Many of the current UFO cults believe that we are indeed descended from genetic experiments. The aliens themselves have claimed that all the advanced humans on earth, Einstein, Buddha, Jesus, were all “experiments” done by them.

In this sense the agenda of the aliens is not much different than that of the evolutionary scientists. Let’s take God completely out of the picture… Part of the goal of the “aliens” from ancient times was to destroy the bloodline somehow of the messiah. Did I say “aliens” perhaps you know them better by their name “sons of God” such as in Genesis 6.

(I have more; I even have a video game based on some of these ideas at http://www.newrev7.com)
